6. The recording time changes with the sampling frequency:

For example, when a 100K resistor is used as the oscillation resistor, the recording time is 10S;

When using a 160K resistor as the oscillating resistor, the recording time is 16S;

In order to improve the sound quality, this module uses 82K resistors as the oscillating resistor, so the recording time is 8.2S;

7. It is possible to realize recording and playback without the need of a single-chip microcomputer.

Features:

This kit uses the ISD1820 chip, which has a high quality and natural voice reproduction and can be used as a megaphone module. With loop playback, jog playback, single-pass playback function, recording time is changed with the sampling frequency. Recording and playback can be controlled by buttons or microcontrollers. The board comes with a power amplifier that can drive speakers up to 8W. SP1 outputs the pre-level audio, the sound quality is better, SP2 is the amplified audio, the sound quality is slightly worse, and the sound with higher sound quality is needed. It can be externally connected to the better power amplifier on the SP1 side to be amplified and then connected to the speaker.

Use reminder:

Please use 5V regulated power supply or switching power supply or 3 batteries to supply power in series. Do not use USB port power supply or charger to supply power. The sound quality of the latter 2 will be very poor. It may be that these two kinds of power supply clutter are more, many buy I always use the charger or USB port to supply power, and then I say how bad the sound quality is, we can only let you change the power.

Instructions for use:

Power supply: 3-5V, can be powered on the pin or DC seat, DC seat is inside and outside negative;

Recording and playback control mode: button control or single-chip microcomputer, the control expansion port on the board is dedicated to the microcontroller;

Button control recording and playback operation method:

REC button: Record button, press and hold to record, release button to stop recording;

RLAYE button: trigger mode playback, press to play the current entire voice;

PLAYL button: play in the jog mode, press and hold to play, release and stop playing;

Toggle switch function:

RPL toggle switch: loop playback mode control, looped at 0N;

FT toggle switch: through the module control, the microphone at the ON end is directly connected to the speaker;

Speaker connection:

This module has 2 speaker interfaces, SP1 and SP2

SP1 is the audio output directly from the chip, and SP2 is the voice amplified by the LM386.

The volume of the SP2 is adjusted by the blue adjustable potentiometer on the board.

SP2 is mainly used when playing recordings. It is ideal to expand the recording sound. If the speaker is connected to the SP2 in the through mode, please separate the speaker from the microphone, such as the one used by the bank, the middle glass is separated. Or extend the distance between the speaker and the microphone, otherwise the speaker will scream due to self-oscillation.

Therefore, although the board has audio amplification, this module is not suitable for megaphones when selling cabbage. Simply put, the SP2 interface is mainly used to expand the playback of the recording, rather than expanding the voice of the call.

Microphone (recorder) connection:

The microphone has 2 poles, and the negative pole is connected to the outer casing. This problem is often asked by buyers.
