Function Explanation: The environmental temperature controller (hereafter referred to as the temperature controller) is composed as shown in Figure 1, with the printed circuit as shown in Figure 2. The circuit mainly consists of a humidity-sensitive capacitor, humidity/frequency conversion circuit, frequency pulse generation circuit, frequency comparison circuit, and humidity control output circuit. The humidity-sensitive capacitor HS110 and LM555 form the humidity/frequency conversion circuit, converting the physical quantity of humidity into a pulse frequency corresponding to the humidity level. The integrated capacitor U3 and external RC components form the reference pulse generator, which outputs the signal after a 12-stage division. The pulse frequency comparison circuit, composed of U2 and some peripheral components, accepts signals from the humidity/frequency conversion circuit and the reference pulse generator. The comparison result is latched by a D flip-flop and output to the temperature controller K1 to engage.
The specific effect is as follows: Blow air lightly on the humidity-sensitive capacitor to increase the relative humidity around it. The humidity/frequency conversion circuit outputs a lower frequency. When the pulse frequency is below the set value (corresponding to a relative humidity of 90% RH), the humidity control circuit automatically outputs (K1 engages, LED1 lights up), stopping the airflow to the humidity-sensitive capacitor. After dehumidification (dehumidification time is about 20 seconds), the humidity control circuit stops outputting (K1 disengages, LED1 goes out).
